Today I had my 20 weeks scan and ITS A BOY! I can’t believe it I’m so grateful and happy and I don’t know why God decided to bless us but He is so good!! And he’s healthy too!!! I’m really in shock! I had sent off our 14 week scan to get the nub figured out and they guessed girl but it wasn’t even a nub shot … but it still made me really nervous then today! Unmistakable BOY in here!

I want to add my attempt but could find the template so I’ll just go from the top of my head since I’ve read ALOT of the boy AND girl sways!

Age: dw 35 dh 36

Months TTC: 1

Current children: G6B3G1

Attempts: 3 one night of pos opk, next am and pm

Mucus: NONE! I used preseed 3rd attempt

I’ll start the saga from the beginning. July 2021 had dd 3 after an ingender half ass sway. I didn’t find out until birth and I feel soooo guilty saying this but was disappointed. I got over it but began praying for this boy right away. Found GD around the beginning of 2021 and started HE (you’ll find my food in great detail on my daily food log post) around May 2022 I wanted to lose some weight and get toned so cut back on cals but kept up the protein and fat and regular meals and lost 15lbs. I got my first PP ovulation September 2022 and then I really started upping calories to give myself a good 4 week boost. I never ever missed breakfast. Totally cut out all the powders I was doing before and cut out coffee. I was vegan before so totally did a 180 February 2022. October 2022 we had our attempts.

DH I started really getting after about his health. He cut out coffee, took his multi & omega, stayed off bikes, dirt bikes and hot tubs, he lost about 20 lbs while lifting weights and totally transformed his body.

And praise Jesus today I can say another son. Amen!

Hi! :)
Recovering from surgery so right now not the best, pretty much bedridden so I feel like I have the body of a frail 90 year old LOL (soft, not toned, no energy and sore)..I've lost weight (I've had to have very little food for a few weeks now) which is unavoidable but hope to recover fast so can get back to exercising, eating well etc
Has reality sunk in for you? OMG you're having a BOY!!! :D

No it hasn’t! I’ve never found out gender before delivery so it’s like not even real until I see that boy! My son is so excited he talks about him all the time and rubs my belly. Really cute. I’m so grateful. Praise Jesus! Now just praying for a healthy baby to stay put until it’s time!

At least now that you know you can prepare for him in the coming months and allow yourself to get excited knowing it IS the boy you’d hoped for :bluecheer:
What do you think pushed your odds towards blue? The high clean protein and actively trying to get muscle, the number of attempts?

The girls have been hard on their dad who’s had to pick up my slack since am mostly in bed - and they’ve not wanted to help him :rolleyes:
So things are a bit tense - though you’re right they’ve been good to me ;)

Am looking forward to being able to move and exercise and regain some muscle! At least this forces me to relook at my diet in depth so now is a good time prior to go full blast HE etc :)
I do think I may have some food intolerances so will try to get those tested too - now fingers crossed I get the ok from the surgeon at my post op so I can actually consider TTC!
