To announce that I gave birth to my healthy baby boy last month :xy:

Some of you may remember me from a couple of years ago on this forum, it took me several months to conceive the first time and I even posted my sway. That pregnancy ended in a miscarriage, as did the next two. Lots of testing and waiting in between, and he’s finally here now. No sway, just went with what happens will happen.

God is great

Many congratulations! I read through and stalked most of your posts whilst doing my research, so it’s great to read this update.

If you have any tips at all which you think might have tipped it in the favour of blue, do share!

Congrats again!

Thank you!

By the time I conceived and it was successful I had no intentions for swaying at the time. In fact I conceived my son right after Ramadan fasting ended, so my body was in "calorie deficit" which is to sway girl. That being said, my diet has always been HE and so when fasting would end for the day I would eat a lot of heavy and rich foods. They were also short fasts only 12 hours or less, which may have contributed? Not sure lol, but that was about it for my diet, otherwise we BD'd frequently.

Yes, exactly, if you're eating an HE-type diet you can overcome things like fasting. Remember, everyone who gets a pink sway opposite is also fasting! It's not a magic bullet in any way, but we're just trying to optimize our odds, that's all. :)

Again, hugest congrats!!!

Yes it’s all about optimising odds, and I had been eating HE for a very long time (it’s how I’ve normally always eaten). I was also taking folate and iron daily plus a weekly vitamin D.

Thank you! Yes this was a natural pregnancy :) We had begun considering IUI/IVF in the future if it didn't work out again. Our specialists said to just try again so we went with that.
