In the past, I've always taken Vitex (in tincture form) to help regulate my cycles. It seems to work really well for me. I see that a lot of people on here are taking Vitex pills (capsules or tablets) instead of the liquid tincture. Does it matter which kind you take?

no, I think they both work in the same way

I agree with rainbow, I believe they are the same. If you decide to go for the pills, look for the ones with vitex extract. I did compare the prices of the tincture and the pills and it seems like you get more doses for your money with the pills.

Thank you for your replies! :) I was told that the tincture is more easily absorbed and more concentrated (I only used a few drops in a large glass of water - the bottle lasted me forever), but I didn't know if there was a reason why one should choose pills over the tincture form. So I guess it's just personal preference then. :agree:

No reason, just preference. I think the herbologists claim it works better as a tincture, but it's worked fine for us on this site just using the pills.
