Okay... so if I'm trying for a baby boy... should I limit my sugar intake? I love all sweets in general but wasn't sure if that was a no no for boy swayers... I know you need to eat more protein and salt which I am not used to doing at all in the past (no wonder I only have girls) but what about sugar? :)

I will be watching this since I am swaying for a boy too. I am pretty sure you can have dark chocolate on the boy diet, not sure about anything else though

Sweet is not good for us because of the blood sugar balance. (have to keep it nice and even ) so no fun lol
Juice have sugar too, so even when I drink juice I have some nuts with it or hard boiled egg or so.
Dark chocolate is ok but I also eat that together with something.Or right after meal.

Flava is right, avoid sugar, though if you have some make sure you have protein with it--Atomic says "If you must have M&M's, just make sure they are peanut".

Sugar is fine when swaying blue, as long as you eat protein with it.

Here's the sweeteners essay! http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-discussion/2038-sweetening-up-your-sway-pink-blue.html
You can have sweets as long as you have protein with them, and always try to err on the side of healthier sweets (like dark choc) rather than empty cals (jelly beans).
The prob. with sweets on the boy diet is that the cals in sweets end up taking the place of better foods. Since you're so likely to gain on boy diets anyway, any source of calories with no benefits (empty cals) are kind of a losing game for you, because they take the place of foods that can really HELP your sway, plus it makes it a lot more likely you'll end up gaining weight that you don't need.
Some options for when you're craving sweets include fresh fruits, dry fruits like apricots and dates, sugared nuts, trail mix, dark choc, choc covered nuts, and full fat dairy (altho be aware, ice cream doesn't have a lot of protein, so you may be better off with full-fat yogurt instead.)
What you really don't want to do is have JUST sweets (even, like flava points out, juice or fruit.) It causes your blood sugar to shoot up and then your body releases a lot of insulin to get rid of the blood sugar, and your blood sugar crashes. For TTC a boy, you want very nice and even blood sugar for as long out of the day as you can.
