This is the only photo I have so far and it was taken at 12w 4d. Not the best I know, but the tech was saying that this was the nub? She also said she was thinking girl but we are finding out in two weeks (20 week mark) and I'm just curious if anyone would be able to tell me if this IS the nub and what the gender may be? Thanks! :pregnant:

I think girl. The cord is running in that area but the nub is girly.

Great, so you see a nub? I only wonder because a midwife friend of mine said it looked more like it's little thigh but if your right, that would be great! Thankyou.

I think that's the nub. But I can't see the end of it, so it's 50-50 for me.

Boy or girl, I hope it turns out the way you want. :)

Thanks everyone, I wasn't sure if that was a nub or a leg, but thanks for guessing! I would be pretty happy if it IS a girl, but either way I'll be pleased :happy:

Ugh, I agree. The tech was in a hurry and only printed out two photos and I could hardly make them out! Thanks anyway!

We were for about 6 months, trying to get pregnant. It wasn't working, so we stopped swaying amd just let it be. 2 months later I was 5 weeks pregnant. A big suprise!

At 12 weeks both boys and girls would have a nub anyway. It's only after 13 weeks that the nub actually can have some bearing on the angle. (girl parallel to spine... boy upward angle). I hope you get what you want! Good luck!

The angle can be seen as early as 11w but 12w is more accurate. 13w and the chances of it changing are slim. By 14w the nub guess is close to 98% accurate....whereas at 11w it's closer to 60%.
