If its advised not to take vitex and baby asprin during 2ww (incase of pregnancy), then how are you supposed to slowly taper off them?? Because isn't stopping supp's cold turkey @ O dangerous, and can even cause miscarriage??

First of all, hi and welcome.

You don't have to taper off vitex and saw palmetto because they mimic your body's natural cycle of 2 weeks of estrogen followed by a sudden shift to progesterone. Stop them the day of pos. OPK.

You don't taper off baby aspirin until after a BFP, because it is ok to take in early pg and may even help a baby implant. Once you get a BFP, you can gradually taper off the baby aspirin over 2-3 weeks. On the other hand, cranberry is not safe in the 2WW and it's also not safe to stop it cold turkey, which is a big part of why I prefer people not take cranberry and use baby aspirin instead.

You DO have to taper off any nutritional supps over time like B6, folic acid, etc. because your body gets used to them, but for swaying pink, you shouldn't be taking many/any of these anyway, aside from folic acid, which everyone needs to take thruout the first trimester anyway. B6 is also safe to take thru the first trimester. Gradually taper off both these supps, do not stop them cold turkey.

If you choose to take cal/mag, it is best to take them in doses that are compatible with pg so you can safely take them into pregnancy and then gradually taper off.
