I read recently that higher than normal temps before O sway for girl (FX) because it means you are producing a higher than normal amount of progesterone and I have had higher than normal temps before O this month.

Is there a poll somewhere or can anyone who had higher temps before O and had a girl comment and let me know please!

Thanks so much!

temp is based on a variety of hormone levels - higher pre-OV temp could be less oestrogen, OR more progesterone, etc

That is a theory based on another theory, neither proven in any reliable, scientific way. It may be true, it may not be, and even if it is true I strongly suspect it is a lot more complicated than some parties make it out to be. I don't think anyone should rely on temps rather than doing a full sway, nor do I think anyone who feels good about their sway in other ways, should postpone a sway if their temps are lower one month than they were in another month.
