How old where you when you had your BOYS ??

I know the chances of conceiving a boy decrease with maternal age (although not by that much), I had my DS when I was 26, now I am turning 30 this summer and am afraid that it will be harder for me to have another DS once I hit my 30's. So my question is to all the boy mommies how many of you had DS after 30?? I know it is very very possible but I like the reassurance.

I have 2 boys, and started my family later in life. I was 34 & 36 when I conceived them (and age 35 & 37 when they were born). GL!

Me...DS1-26 and DS2-28

My mother... GBGG all conceived before 28. #5 a boy was conceived at 38.

My stepmom... DS1-31, DD1-33, and DD2-41.

I don't know the ages of the few women I know but they where about 35-38 and both had boys. I do know a lot of older men married to younger women and they all conceived boys when the men were in their 40s.

Another one for the 30s. I was 32 and 34 when my boys were conceived. I know 30s seems like "advanced" age to you- but I think they are really referring to women 38+ before you see more girls being born. My aunt had DS1 at 32, DS2 at 34, and then a girl at age 42.

I was 25 when I had my first DS, and 26 when I had my DS2. DH was 26 when our first son was born, and 27 when we had DS2.

I had my son at 25, but my good friend just had a son and she is 32.

I had DS1 at 19 and DS2 at 32. I know many women in their late 30's with boy toddlers. One of my close friends had two over the age of 39. Good luck!

At 30, it makes no difference whatsoever. The difference really starts to add up in late 30's and goes up by quite a bit after 40. (this is no guarantee and many women conceive boys after age 40, just a statistical trend)

boys at 21 and 25, then boys at 37 and 39! Not a heck of a lot of difference for me.

Mom - 2 girls 1 girl loss (25, 34, 35) 1 boy (38)

Grandma - 1 girl (28) twin boys (38)

Greatgrandma - 6 girls in a row and then 2 boys (I don't know her age but the girls are quite different in age from oldest to youngest, so she had to be late 30's or even older when she had the boys)

I was 29 when DS1 was concieved and 32 when DS2 was concieved. I was 33 when we concieved this one, but don't know gender yet.
