CB digital OPK users--help!

Ok so I have been using the CB digital (Smiley) OPKs for 3 months now. I have been repurchasing a new package each month because I was told you cannot reuse the holder and the remaining test sticks next cycle. this month I got the 20pack (as they were out of the 7pack one) and I got 'smiley' on Cd 10 evening. this morning for the heck of it i used the same holder (I never retested w/ the same holder in the past months) and new stick from same package and didn't get a smiley, just the plain circle, which means im no longer fertile? I read the instructions again from this package and it said you can reuse the same holder w/ it's new sticks, is this correct????

I am really confused this cycle! I dont know if I ovulated, along w/ the CB digital, I used a store brand OPK and didn't get any positive on that!!! I have started taking vitex and SP this cycle, maybe that could have caused it. even if cycle is screwy, shouldn't the CB digital still tell the truth??

I use the same holder w/ new sticks. Before you got the smiley on CD 10 in the evening had you tested before?
It is possible that a smiley would have come up on CD 10 AM or afternoon and that you caught the tail end of it.
The smiley only means that there is a LH surge ..there is still a window of time after that for the egg to release.
My first cycle after taking SP and vitex was screwy too. I got the smiley face on CD 8--that never happened to me before.

Yes, I usually start testing CD 9. I test 4x a day until I get the smiley. and I got the smiley at 11pm last night (CD 10). last time i had tested was actually 6pm (no smiley). So this morning I got the blank circle.

so did you just continue taking vitex and sp or stop after ov and start the next AF? I was thinking I should continue taking vitex and sp for 6 wks straight, then stop before my next AF, for my attempt in April.
