Hi everyone :)
I am PG with my 2nd baby and at 14wks exactly I had an appointment with my Obs who has a scanning machine in her office. She tried to do a potty shot but we only saw a bit of swelling in that area which she said could be boy or girl at this gestation. Then she switched it to 3D and took a photo. I instantly thought what I was looking at was a pair of testicles hanging below the baby's bottom, but since then I have been researching and have found it to be unlikely that testes have descended this early. I have also been trying to find out more about the 'nub' theory.
Would anyone else out there have a better idea about whether this is in fact a 'nub' under my baby's bottom? I understand that 3D is not ideal for a gender prediction and that 14wks is considered too early to give an accurate guess, but I was hoping someone may have come across a similar 'nub' photo in 3D before and may be able to share their experiences?
Thank you in advance for any help you can give :) I have included an arrow to point at it which I hope helps?
