I hope everyone is right!! I went in at 12 weeks hoping to get a nub shot. I know it was early. I asked the tech why did she do a potty shot so early they all look the same. She tried to get a good nub shot but couldnt due to the baby moving. She said she seen the nub sticking straight up but i didnt see i couldnt tell so thats why i dont trust her. Then she looked between the legs and said oh ya its a boy! I kept asking her are you sure and she said yes, shes been doing this for 30 yrs she knows. She showed me two white dots just under what she said was the penis. So is that the sac? Please let me know! I go back on March 29th. The wait is killing me. I want to hear boy at the next ultrasound! Im just so nervous that she got my hopes up and its a girl! What do u guys think?

Normally I would never guess on a 12 week potty shot. Just too early and not reliable. It sounds like you might get what you are hoping for though :)

I honestly don't know why any tech would give a guess from a potty shot at this gestation. At this stage all babies have nubs or "mini penises". From 14 weeks toilet shots combined with a profile shot is a good way to determine gender. Sounds like she got a good look at the nub though! :) FX!

The testes don't drop until the third trimester, but I don't think that is what she meant. You can still see a sac. Leaning :DS: from the 3rd pic! GL!

Foxy- look at the gender shot. Does it look like a labia and whatsthe dark line in the middle that starts at the top and goes to the bottom?

Foxy- I seen a pic at 12 weeks that looked similar to mine and it ended up being a girl!! I think I just got my hopes up but i have that feeling of girl like I did with the rest of my girls!

Aww hun. The tech is certain she saw a boy nub and I think I spot one in the 3rd pic too. Do you have any other pics or a video? Your next scan is soon, right? Crossing everything I can that you will hear boy! :fingers:

yep she said she seen a boy nub. I think im doubting it because i didnt see one.:worry: I looked at the disc she gave me I dont have any more pics the rest arent that good. I think im going to video tape the next one with my phone. My next scan is next thursday. In the third pic i wasnt sure if that was a nub or not. It kinda looked like it but i thought maybe it was too long and maybe thought it was supposed to be part of the leg.

Had my ultrasound at the docs office to check on thr subchorionic hematoma. The tech would not look at tbe gender. I was trying to look but she didnt even let me see anywhere below. Its like she was not gonna let me peek. Lol. She gave me very bad pics too. Oh well. Now i got to wait longer. To find out for sure. She wouldnt even tell me about the hemotoma she checked on.
