Yesterday I've had my u/s, baby looks perfectly healthy ( huge relief), but the tech was pretty sure it's a girl. I faked a happy face :worry: I'm 15weeks 5 days.
Could he be wrong? I'm hoping that SHE turns into HE by some miracle....
Any experiences with wrong u/s gender prediction, esp. girl turning up to be a boy?
A friend of mine was told she was having a girl all the way, and then a delivery room surprise-it was a boy. He even had pink stroller lol! But that is the only case I know....
Who am I kidding? It's a girl

Hugs mama, I'm so sorry you're feeling sad :( GD sucks. I think 3 of kind is amazing, especially 3 girls (which is what I always dreamed of having).
But on a different note, my sister's boy didn't really look boyish at first (he was shy), but he's all boy now...

I think itīs more common for girls to turn into boys than the opposite, I hope youīll be one of those cases:luck:

Here it is. I'm almost completely clueless when it comes to potty shots, so this might as well be head or abdomen :p But those 3 lines makes me think it's the right shot. Any chance for a :xy:?1786

Happy to help :) Think of it this way; you'll raise 3 daughters into awesome ladies to bond with and stick by you when you're old! I know my sister and I stayed close to our mum until she passed away in 2010. I think you're incredibly lucky... I can barely make one girl lol :P

Found you ZB:) Your potty shot looks more like you said a cross segment of abdomen with the sticking out bit being a view through the cord, so I'd discard that for guessing:) Your skull pic would have me a slight girl lean but not a screaming obvious one possibly 53/47 to the girl side?? Do you have any other pics at all!! And congratulations! on a gorgeous healthy baby either way:)!!!!

And for delivery room suprises, lady at school expecting 3rd boy NO 1st girl. Old school friend expecting 1st girl NO 5th boy! Neighbour 2 doors up 2nd girl NO 2nd boy :) So definately more common than you think:agree:

:( I'm sorry Z. I agree that the odds are it's prob a girl BUT I do know of a couple people both IRL and from IG who had ultrasound opposites. They were always told girl but then baby turned out to be a boy, never the other way around.
PS - I'm so glad for a healthy baby tho!

ZB - Sorry they are saying girl. I think the angle of that u/s is showing the cord and the gender part is to the right of that. Are you going for another scan at 18-20wks? I really was hoping you would hear boy.
I heard of someone who has BBBBBG. 4 of the boys were thought to be girls and the girl was thought to be a boy. I even saw the u/s pics I would have said the same.
Even my MIL was told she was having a girl and she had a boy.
It happens a lot more then we all think it does!

Hey ELP sweeti! When is baby David coming?
I have a lot of other shots but I can't tell which one is a potty shot :worry: Idk whether to post like 7 pics in hope at least 1 is potty shot. I should have ask during the scan, but I was devastated and confused. Thank you for u/s opposite examples!!!! I guess I'm going to live in denial as long as possible. Pathetic, I know....

a friend of mine irl was told that her boy was a girl. He was her first so she had a pink nursery and at her shower everyone gave her girlie clothes. He was in pink sleepers and sleeping in a pink nursery for months! Then along came her second - different tech, same clinic, they told her that her girl was a boy. Luckily she already had all the pink clothes so she could use them for her second.

Hey ZB! I'm sorry they're predicting girl; I do agree that in terms of opposites happening it is usually the "girls" that are actually boys ... so ... *maybe*?!?
In the delivery with DD3 once she was out one of the nurses kept referring to her as "he" ... "he's so big! he's has so much hair!" and DH and I both looked at each other like "maybe?!?!" but then she said "ooops! I mean SHE!" I think to be honest it was the size that tripped her up.
I'm glad the bean is looking healthy though hun, but I know how dream-crushing it is to hear it isn't what you were hoping for, and I'm sorry you're having to go through that :hugs:

ZB, I know my old co-worker 's mom was told girl twice when in fact both were boys. She too had all the pink stuff from baby shower from her 1st, and when they told her the 2nd baby was a girl, she had a gut feeling they were wrong and that it was a boy (based on her 1st experience) and alas! She has two sons, and not two daughters.
Please post as many pics as you can/want! The baby looks so cute and I know you'll love her/him no matter what! I understand how you're feeling tho...

Sorry you didn't hear boy, congrats on a healthy baby. I heard I was having 3rd boy yesterday, it takes a bit of time for it to sink in but I'm sure we'll both be OK and our number 3's will be amazing. You never know though, they could be wrong...

You are living my dream, if it's any consolation. I always knew I was going to be a mom to 3 boys, what went wrong? :(
I'm sure our 3rd babies will be super cuties  Too bad you are so far away, we could switch them after birth :p

Congratulations again on your gorgeous baby!!!!! I love that she is so big and strong, my DD2 was that big, made me so proud
I'm still in denial, hoping that she'll turn to boy :worry: I'll tell tech on my 20 week scan not to look at a gender, I can't hear again: It's a girl! Esp. not in a happy tone :(
This is my last baby. I remember you once said that in a perfect world you would have 3 boys. Me too. I always knew I was going to have 3 boys, then I prayed for only one :tissue:
I hope it will get better once she comes to us. Not sure though :worry:

I agree w/ you that the scan photo you gave isn't the best. At least to me. I was one of the 'ones' told girl at 18 weeks....all boy at 30 week scan. He's 3 now...(and the absolute love of my life ;))
Praying your she grows a weiner!

thats the cord sticking out in the potty shot, the head does look like a girl but I hope with all my heart you get a boy, I'm in the same position as you and hoping to hear boy but I think I'm having a girl too, so I totally understand what you're feeling right now and just want to give you a big hug and hope that we both find happiness if we end up having 3 girls xxx
