Hi i was planning on waiting until May to sway but due to health issues i have been advised to return to eating a proper diet and to take more vitamins. So as i have been now on the diet a few weeks and taking vitex and sp since AF last week i really need to go for it this month.:(
I have lost 13lbs in 3 weeks and i have really stuck to the diet.I have not been taking any vitamins(as i always did so trying the opposite) but dh has been taking calcium, mag and cranberry. So now i'm trying to figare out when to dtd to get a bfp but also to hopefully sway.

I'm due to ov on the 5th of April. But as this is my first month on vitex and sp i'm afraid ov will be either late or early.I want to take zyrtek so should i start taking them now or nearer ov? Also i ordered rephresh and it still has'nt arrived so hopefully that will be here by monday.:(
I have opk's sticks so when would you think i should start testing?(considering sp and vitex might throw it off a bit).
And when i get a faint positive should i go for it then or wait until a strong positive? I'm in a panic now but dont want to get stressed and ruin my calmness lol. Any advice would be great.

Have you tested in previous months to know when yours correlate? My OPK was fading in starting Fri night, on Sat morning was almost +, on Sat at about 9PM, it was + and I did a digital and got a smiley. We were not able to dtd until Sun at about 9PM - a full 24 hours after OPK+. That was our one attempt for the month - and it worked - don't know who's in there but I did get my BPF finally.

If you're going to have to come off the diet and take vitamins then I think you should do everything you can to get pregnant this month. As diet is probably the biggest factor, I mightn't bother with the antihistimines and Rephresh but that's your call. I would certainly only take the antihistimines if/when you have lots of EWCM and I would make sure not to use Rephresh too much/too often/too close to DTD. I would also make sure you have several attempts this month. Are you planning to do frequent release? I'd do straight forward frequent release and not go too over the top (maybe have DH release once a day for 7 days before you start DTD) and then DTD every day until you've O'd after that.

Thanks for your replies. Yes I've been using opks I suppose I'm just in panic mode lol.
Yes zanacal I think I will start now doing fr up until the 5th or whenever I get a plus on the opk and then dtd for a few days following. My head was a little all over the place last night when I posted the op but I've calmed down and realised I've been doing everything else perfectly up until now so I just need to do what is possible now to get a bfp. And I'm even Cracking open the vodka for a few over the next few nights for a change too lol. Thanks again.;)

I would just stop the vitex and SP a couple days in advance of attempt to make sure you do O when you're expecting to.

Since this needs to be a "pull out all the stops" month I think you should aim for getting pg which means start attempts at a faint pos and keep right on going thru O. do more than one attempt in your fertile window.

I think you should keep the Zyrtec in reserve and not take it unless you really have a lot of EWCM. You need a little bit in order to get pg.

Go ahead and start testing for O now because some people O early on supps rather than late.

Good luck!!

I wouldn't use RepHresh this month since you need to get pg quickly.
