Hi ELP, the pic on this thread is actually of my youngest, I was interested to see if people would vote girl as it looks like a girlie nub on the scan pic. My youngest is actually a boy :bigsmile:, just wanted to see how accurate the nub theory could be but in his case not so.

My scan pic on the skull thread is my current pregnancy, il post it again here. I find the nub theory/skull theory very interesting if not a little addictive too lol

The first picture is 12wks2days? Wow. That gives me hope. I saw something very similar to this at my 12 wk scan and thought for sure it was a girl (I am hoping for a boy).

The first pic at start of thread is my son at 11 weeks 6 days and the second pic (this pregnancy) is at 12 weeks 2 days (dont know gender yet)
My son did have a very girlie like nub though so it just goes to show whilst the nub theory rings true a lot of the time there is always the odd one or two that defy it lol

Thanks for the blue dust! My scan was at 11wks 4 days, so about the same gestation as your son's pic. :)

No, I want to stay team green so I didn't get any pictures. I had hoped to not even see anything at the scan, but the baby didn't move much and the scan was long, so I saw what looked like a girl nub. However, I don't usually nub guess at pictures because I can't always see what people are talking about, so I am hoping I was wrong about what I saw!

Thats understandable & probably wise, ever since I have found out about the nub theory I have been nub obesessing lol

I wouldnt worry too much about what you saw as I know before 12 weeks the accuracy of gender guessing from the nub is very slim & there is a very good chance that the nub may rise. And in my case with my youngest sons it certainly did :)
I dont know if it helps but with my youngest he was very lazy on the scans whereas this one was jumping around! Maybe being lazy is a boy sign :) x

Oooo I so hope so! :pray: Have had a lot of girlie guesses and only about 2 boy guesses from this & other forums.
I have 3 boys so would be amazing if this bubs was a girl!
Am bracing myself for boy though as just seems too good to be true, infact have even bought some boy clothes lol
