I planned on using lavender as part of my sway to help reduce testosterone and increased negative ions and have even purchased a few lavender products. However, since reading the recent posts which suggest that lavender in fact increases estrogen i am feeling confused and unsure if i should include it in my sway. From what i understand frm googling it lavender was only found to mimic estrogen and not actually raise it. Anyone else have any opinions/understanding on lavender for swaying. Thanks

I don't know anything about it, so I'm bumping this up for Viene.

It is good for DH, but it's less clear whether or not it would be good for women. It's true it does mimic it and even though it isn't true, natural estrogen it still has the same effect as natural estrogen. Studies done on men found that it lowered testosterone and raised estrogen. Gynecomastia (man boobs) was a common finding as a result of the estrogenic effect.

I don't know if it 'really' works or if there is anything in it or just a coincidence but it seemed to for me. I used it in everything! Soaps, moisturizer, body scrub/lotion, oil burners, hand cream; anything Lavender I could get my hands on I did! Was MAD for the Lavender I was.

So it swayed pink for me!..or maybe just positive thinking..lol
