Hi ladies,

I will be starting my first Clomid cycle next week and I’m a little concerned about how it will interact with supplements I’ve been taking, specifically Tyrosine to help with thyroid functioning (I’m a Hashi’s patient), StaminoGro (http://www.staminogro.com/index.php/en/nutritional-information) (multivitamin that's supposed to boost fertility) and fennel tea for indigestion. I don’t want to just quit cold turkey, because I’ve noticed real improvements in my overall health since I started taking them 18 months ago, but I also don’t want anything to interfere with the Clomid doing its job.

So basically what I want to know is, did anyone take amino acids while on Clomid?
If yes, do you think it helped or hurt the outcome?
Are there any foods/supps, other than soy and vitex, that I should steer clear of?

All replies appreciated ;)

Hi leap, there is an extensive list of supps to avoid in this general-info Clomid thread http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-discussion/1191-clomid.html

and you also may be interested in this thread about swaying while on Clomid - even if you're not swaying (my iffy memory tells me you are going HT but still good info in there.) http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-discussion/7997-swaying-clomid-swaying-under-special-circumstances-part-2-a.html

Thanks for the links Atomic ;) I'm doing IUI w/o MS so the HT only applies to the LO's conception. As far as gender goes I'm pretty old school.
