Ok I feel pretty on top of it right now.
Hubby has on just had a vas reversal a little while ago, so his count is low, we havent got the results back yet but im hoping there is enough in there to work lol

I just started using rephresh today (CD 8) will use it every 3 days. And been taking vitex and folic acide already since day one.

Ive so far lost about 3kgs this month, about 6 and a half pounds, havent been mega strict with diet, just spacing foods out and sticking to low cals.

I have checked hubbys ph and its pretty high at 8,5 but im hoping the rephresh will help that?

going to start opks tomorrow.

Im ovulating in a new moon, which is just a coincidence. I also found out some bio rhythm dates and low and behold they line up for this month too! wearing ionised sanitary pads (mostly to stop any of the rephresh leaking but cant hurt lol)

The only other thing is the zyrtec, im not sure when to start it? I was thinking maybe start it around day 10? just take it daily?

We are abstaining now, and will have attempt when we get the post opk, probably have two attempts one after the other.

I hope this sounds about right?

Sounds great, good luck!

You can take the Zyrtec for around 5 days around O (stopping at O) or whenever you notice EWCM.

Honestly, I'm not sure if DH has had a vas reversal, how much aside from diet I would do.

It may actually be a good thing his pH is high, it will help protect the sperm.

I think since you''re already planning to do abstain and RepHresh, I would skip the Zyrtec. Since you don't know for sure what his count is doing, I can understand that you may want to keep that in the mix for now. Just take ONE the day of your attempt, about 6 hours before. Don't take it for days on end - your situation is unique and you need to at least give the sperm a shot at the egg.

I second Atomic's advice. I worked in a semen analysis lab for several years and have seen hundreds of vas reversal semen samples. Remember - a low count reflects the total number of sperm, swimming or not. The actual number of swimming sperm is probably going to be quite low. I don't want to sound like a negative Nelly, but many women have trouble even getting pregnant after their partner has had a vas reversal. Add all the swaying stuff into the mix and it could make it very tough.

If I were you, I'd go hard on the diet and easy on the jellies and Zyrtec! Good luck to you!!

thanks, we ended up not doing abstain lol cant seem to get that one right lol. so we are just kind of going with the mood.
i think one zyrtec 6 hours before seems fine.

im hoping his count will be good as he only had the vas done for 2 years so doctor is expecting a quick strong return of sperm.

we get his results 7th may too so our sway next month may be factoring in his count if we need to go again ;)
