Hi
A lot of us (especially hose from overseas) loved the offer you did late last year
I think it was $10,700 for the whole pgd cycle

I just wondered/hoped if any of these offers were coming back anytime soon?

I don't remember this from last year, but a good deal would be enough to make me take the plunge. I remember there was some talk of a groupon type deal but I don't know if there were enough people interested for it.

I just wondered/hoped if any of these offers were coming back anytime soon?We are currently Gender Dreaming folks offering $1000 off IVF/ICSI/PGD-24 and $500 off IVF/ICSI/PGD-2 or PGD-5 which comes out to $11,200 for PGD-24. I am not sure if $10700 will ever be back because our cost for GSN has gone up since then.

Quick question for you Dr Potter. With PGD - 5, what do you check with the 5 probes? Just curiosity?

Is there a GD member offer for multi cycle packages or just the one cycle? I've been quoted $20k from some clinics here in the Bay Area so I'm thrilled to hear $11,200. Definitely interested!!!

And would be curious to know how FETs are handled - a separate cost if Fresh doesn't work out? And if so, what might that total (with any GD discount?)

Yes if you cycle there for the whole thing. Some people do local monitoring and that would be additional.

How much is the FET's through Dr. Potter? Because, even though $11,200 sounds amazing, between airfare & hotel & renting a car, not sure how much each FET costs? If any of you guys know let me know!

Hello Everyone!

This is the current pricing for IVF/ICSI/PGD. All Gender Dreaming members receive a $1000 off all services. If you have additional questions please contact our financial coordinator, Tanya. Her email is TanyaS@havingbabies.com.

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) with Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD). The estimated cost of this treatment will be as follows (excluding medications):

IVF $7400
ICSI $1200
PGD $4600 Includes the first 12 embryos, each embryo after 12 will be an additional $250 each

Total $13,200 Due at time medication is started or first appointment

The anesthesia is $400 and payable directly to the anesthesiologist on day of egg retrieval.

Medications are billed and paid to the pharmacy directly. An estimate of cost for meds can be around $4000-$6000+ depending on the patients protocol.

Additional cost that you may want to consider is Embryo Freezing, $700 and includes one year of storage. Storage fee every year after would be $695.

Best,

Dr. P

How much would it be for another cycle if you froze the embryos and you didn't become pregnant the first cycle?

jazzers
March 10th, 2014, 12:36 AM
Here are the prices from 2014 I was given by Tanya:

2 Cycle Banking: $15,400 + 4600 (PGD) = $20,000 (saves $3100)
3 Cycle banking: $21,500 + 4600 (PGD) = $26,100 (saves $6100)

How much would it be for another cycle if you froze the embryos and you didn't become pregnant the first cycle?

Hi there!

Does the pricing at HRC include the below? I recently reached out to a clinic in MN and these were all listed as separate line items, so I am trying to look into HRC and see if it makes sense to travel to CA. Also, how long do you have to be in CA (I thought I read on one post 13 days) for those of you who have traveled there, how did you make that cost effective (since the price of hotels/eating out must add up)

Pre screening $3300
Monitoring- Fresh $2200-$3200/cycle
Monitoring – Frozen $1200
Pregnancy tests
PGD fees

PGD fees

Pre screening $3300- Always separate cost no matter where you cycle
Monitoring- Fresh $2200-$3200/cycle- Yes, in the cost
Monitoring – Frozen $1200- in the separate FET cost- FETs are a whole second cycle that is a reduced cost but another cycle- $2950 at HRC I think
Pregnancy tests- I guess if you do it at HRC??
PGD fees- Yes it is in the HRC price.

$12,200 includes everything but anesthesia which is a few hundred dollars. If you do a fresh transfer, that's it.

nuthinbutpink
April 22nd, 2014, 05:55 PM
Pre-screening can be totally covered if you have diagnostic testing(most do) on your insurance policy. I paid nothing for my pretesting.

Anesthesia is $400.

The $12,200 includes ICSI and PGD testing of 12 embryos. $250 per embryo after that.

Thanks nuthinbutpink!

Do you know on average how long you would need to be out of town to cycle at HRC? Also, do many people have luck with having insurance covering the medications or are those mainly out of pocket?

That's great to know that insurance might possibly cover pre-screening! I sent over my consultation to HRC, and was really excited to hear back from them! I am still weighting out the pros and cons between cycling in MN or in CA, so its great to get as much information as possible.

My meds were covered even though IVF wasn't so it's worth a call to check!

Depends if you are going to do local monitoring.

hi girls could you clarify something for me im looking through all the posts and im getting confused, as its my first time for pgd im going to have my pretesting done here in the uk then go to hrc but im getting confused on weather its going to cost 12,600 dollars with anasetic or more towards the 20,000 dollars mark :( please help x

nuthinbutpink
May 5th, 2014, 02:17 PM
The entire cycle for a fresh transfer is $12,200 which includes PGD testing plus $400 for anesthesia so $12,600.

Other out-of-pockets- pretesting, any local monitoring if you are not going to be in California for the entire cycle and travel.

ever hopeful
May 5th, 2014, 04:07 PM
Pre testing for HRC for you and your DH is around £1,000 in the UK (might be slightly more depending on where you go) and you will also obviously also need to pay for monitoring (but that's pretty cheap) unless you are planning on being in the US for three weeks. Meds are between £1,500 and £3,000 depending on pre-testing, so you need to add this on to the above cost.
