Don't think my sway worked :(

I'm 7 weeks and 4 days to be exact, and I do have a long way to go before I find out the sex of baby. I was ttc girl. Some of you may remember a few of my posts but long story short I was struggling with opk strips.. they never seemed to get dark, and so I was missing my ovulation. Then I decided to go buy a digital opk test and the day that I bought them and tested I got a solid smiley face (Clearblue) that very day. So we ended up doing BD that night... that was CD14. My gut is telling me that I probably would have gotten a solid smiley in the days before but because I was using strips totally missed the initial indication (hope that makes sense!).

So the doctor told me today my EDD is July 7 2019 which she says I likely ovulated on October 14 (CD14). My first day of last period was October 1st and I've been typically following a consistent 28 days cycle. Because I BD CD 14 and then again CD18, I'm a bit worried this is a blue territory. Is it possible that I ovulated on the 14th making both ovulation and conception day on the same day?! I got solid positives until CD18 hence why I did it on that day just incase of delayed ovulation.

I'm just feeling a bit crap.. I know timing does not work but with my two other boys I had them either around ovulation or on ovulation and I think the same thing has happened here. I did follow all the other things for TTC girl ie. diet, one attempt at positive opk (althought I'm sure it was positive days before and I only caught it because I bought a digi that day). My belly is looking "boyish" .. I don't know Anyone have a girl by BD on ovulation day!

Oh I did use replens.. a few hours before BD and was doing every 3 days after AF.
    Thanks

Hang in there. It is normal to doubt yourself! You totally have a chance of it working out!

I believe our conception for this pregnancy occured on O day. First time we have conceived on O day (other option would be O-5 but u/s indicates O day conception) and we are having boy/girl twins! Best of luck, you never can tell

ALL babies are conceived around ovulation or at ovulation because there are really only 4 days in your cycle that you CAN get pregnant. There are ZERO babies that are not conceived at or around ovulation.

Scientists have found 50-50 boys and girls conceived with sex any given cycle day. Those old studies that claimed to find anything different did not accurately determine ovulation,a nd when scientists went back over those using modern knowhow to more accurately determine ovulation, they still found 50-50 boys and girls conceived any given cycle day - using the data that the old timing studies gathered themself! It just doesn't work. Shettles was wrong, we know how and why he was wrong, and we have the newest and best data to prove that 50-50 boys and girls are conceived every cycle day.

Bellies do not "look boyish". There is absolutely nothing to that. The shape of your belly has to do with your individual build, how many babies you've had, and your overall physical condition.

While your baby can be a boy or a girl, none of this is telling you anything. The worrying gives you a feeling of control but you're upsetting yourself over nothing. None of what you've posted here is in any way indicative of gender going either direction.
Not I nor anyone can tell you what day you ovulated. Your doctor cannot accurately determine your due date or when you ovulated or conceived at this point, either.

and to answer your question I got my daughter by sex at 1 am on O-1 (which is technically ovulation day, evne though I went to bed and slept after that) and my ovulation was confirmed by ultrasound so I know for sure when I ovulated.
