    20 week scan - guesses?

    I went for a 20 week scan a couple of days ago with the same dr as my 13 week scan.
    He is quite new to this hospital and throughout the scan he kept saying “he’s smiling” when he had already predicted a girl. Then at the end very quickly he said “we said girl right” whilst this image was on the screen. It’s very confusing. Can anyone guess the gender? I don’t know which part I’m supposed to be looking at. Two of my friends were told the wrong gender at 20 weeks last year with a different dr.

    It looks girl to me.

    I'm so sorry, he should not have said that to you. Many of the docs and technicians do not understand how serious an issue this is for us and use one pronoun or the other for talking about the baby.

    Is the gender of your baby 100% now?

    Can you please tell how many attempts did you have and how many hours after +OPK?
