I think this is beyond awesome that are you and the baby are in such great shape!! I would do another sway if you really *felt* the need to try to have a DD. I believe you are feeling this way because maybe you should do it? I know Zivic is considering another sway to get a boy and she's also in her 40s.

I think you are just amazing that you are keeping your DS2's needs in mind vs. your desires. You are a great Mom, and I really hope that you get your DD.

You are healthy enough!! Whatever decision you make is the right one. Coming to terms with it is the hardest part. I think getting pregnant again and going team green is a wonderful idea. I don't think it's crazy, I think it's crazy to stop a dream because of what limits others may have. You know what is best for you and your family! Sounds like your DH is a real catch though, and as long as he's supportive, then I would so go for it!

I don't think you're crazy Yuzu! I know of one lady who had a baby recently at 46, so it is possible.

Would you consider an egg donor? I would def. do an egg donor if I were to do HT. Research is showing that your uterine environment is just as important as genetics, so the baby would still be yours in every way that mattered. ♥♥♥

Not crazy but your best bet is to try Microsort in Mexico. At 45+, you will make very few eggs but there you can have the option of adding MS which can make a huge difference with low numbers. You could do local monitoring and only travel if it looks like you have a decent number of eggs. I think someone posted that it is only 4,000 plus 1200 for MS which is really cheap for a cycle. Society for Assisted Reproductive Technologies shows the stats by age for IVF. It is difficult over 40 to say the least. If money is no issue, using MS with low numbers can work but you may have to try a few times.
