I go for a private scan today. All is fine with baby but is it just me that thinks you very rarely hear 'mummy is fine'? My hospital scan a couple of weeks ago I was in and out in 5 minutes!

Mummy is likely fine, but really don't think I could handle it too well if there's an underlying problem with me resulting in very early delivery or miscarriage (placenta previa, incompetent cervix, etc.) that could have been picked up on and prevented. Just a quick once-over for me. Will be nice to drop in and see bubba again. They've specifically said no gender guessing in this scan (not covered in the price), but I'm going to see if I can ask for a cheeky potty shot and see what I can see!
