Overtraining, and the weight loss plateau has been broken!

This must be what overtraining feels like. I am sore and exhausted. Not the kind of sore and exhausted I was before when working out actually made me feel healthy, this is a tired to the bone and soreness that doesn't go away. Today I even broke out into a cold sweat on the treadmill after the first 20 minutes. I've worked out everyday except for 4 days between January 31st and today, an hour of cardio each time.

So hopefully this is working! I would LOVE the super quick weight loss that sometimes goes with overtraining to hit, but I need to keep in mind that getting a DD is more important than dropping a lot of weight. I've been sticking to the LE diet with just a handful of cheats since the last week in December.

I had hit a weight loss plateau that kept my total loss at 9 lbs for 3 1/2 weeks despite a 1200-1500 calorie per day diet and an hour of exercise a day! It was SUPER frustrating!

Upon atomic's suggestion, I changes to the PCOS version of LE and lowered the amount alcohol I was drinking. I also took a weekend off, eating ribs, chocolate cake and filet mignon. I was shocked at how little I could eat, since my stomach has shrunk. It was less than half of what I could eat pre-LE diet. There was no working out for two days.

When I got home, voila! 2 lbs gone! I'm ecstatic to get this weight loss show back on the road. I'm 143.6 lbs now, and at 5'1", I have a long way to go before I'm at an unhealthy low weight. I know there are plenty of fat moms with girls, and thin moms with boys, but I just can't help feeling like I'm the only boy mom with this much extra padding.

That, right there, is dedication. Wow! Btw, you are not the only boy mom with extra padding, ha ha. I conceived both my boys at 250!
