    1 in 2 eggs have chrom.abnormaloties at age 35? wouldnt we be seeing way more birth defects if that were the case?

    Probably not- most eggs would be lost sooner instead possibly even before a bfp so it would (and does) take longer to conceive and the MC frequency is higher for the 35+, and we already know that downs risk is higher too, etc
