Congrats to everyone who is in so far! Nice to see so many moving over from the TWW threads!

(Side note, Mrs Sparkles, I totally suggest a sling (or 10) and a stroller (or 2 or 3, lol). Both have their places for sure, and heavy or not I still wear DS1 a few times a month.

Oh wow! We'll you're right, it is definitely much better to know well in advance that that's how your birth will need to be. And planned C-sections are far safer and smoother than emergency ones!
Did that hour feel like ten though ?! I really do admire you, you're so brave.
I've heard that second labours are way shorter, in fact my friends second one was over 15 mins after she got to the hospital, they didn't even have time to get to a delivery suite

Yes, it is better to know.
I am hoping they can make it as natural as possible , skin to skin and onto the breast asap

Haha! Actually, although it was about as excruciating, I hated that final hour less than I did all the ones before. At least pushing gives you something to DO, yknow?

That's great! I don't know how it is in the UK, but in the US "gentle" c-sections are gaining in popularity.

Still here!! Does anyone else not feel pregnant? Totally forgot while on date night Saturday... almost ordered a drink. Then starting to feel random symptoms this morning a bit nauseous, very warm but mostly starving all the time!! Slightly tender breasts, but also still nursing so it's not unbearable, if that makes sense?!! Haha!

Trying not to read into symptoms... so hard!

I'm 4 weeks as of today, and zero symptoms. But with my son, I NEVER got any traditional pregnancy symptoms the whole time. Just antepartum depression; hoping to be spared that this time around. Would happily take nausea instead! (Easy for me to say now, right?)
