Oh ladies I got a letter today with a very unexpected appointment for an ultrasound this Thursday! I don't know if I'm excited or anxious or what. We got such a shock at the last appointment we didn't really get to see the babies properly or ask any pertinent questions so I guess I'm anxious that everything will be ok in there.
It's routine to get extra scans etc with multiples, right? I'm still finding the whole thing hard to fathom but I suppose seeing them again will help get it into my head properly!!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was stressful and I'm actually glad it's over and we're into a new week

Hope all goes well for your scan hopper and that this is a less stressful week for you. I haven't had twins but I would guess it would be very normal to have extra scans if you are carrying twins.

I get an ultrasound every appointment . Totally normal with twins!! They don’t even use the Doppler on me or measure fundal height as I guess those things aren’t very helpful with twins.

Thank you ABC xxx Can I just ask you - have you had a lot more appointments this time than on your previous pregnancies? I'm thinking this appt might be cause they missed one of the babies at my scan at 6 weeks and then I wasn't seen til almost 15 weeks lol so it's probably making up for scans I should have had. I'm a bit more excited today, less nervous but the nerves are still there! Two more sleeps. I'm looking forward to seeing them again and making sure I wasn't dreaming lol!!

So glad you are looking forward to your scan hopper, I agree seeing Bub (or in your case two bubs) on the screen is amazing and makes it feel more real.
Had another growth scan yesterday (28 weeks), my little girl is still all girl (yes had to check!) and still small (13%percentile still) but growing and is feisty! She kicked her way through most of the scan and had the tech laughing as she kept trying to kick the probe away. Keep growing my little one.

Yay Kelbear!! It's nice to have the re-confirmation that she is indeed all lady FWIW my eldest was around 13 percentile and eventually got to 25 percentile by week 37! But he was just long and skinny when he came a few days early (6lbs 13oz - on the smaller side but perfect!) I remember being made feel quite anxious that I wasn't doing my bit but all their measurements can be hit and miss. Your little lady will be the perfect size by the time she comes out!
Oh and PS - cannot believe you're 28 weeks already!!! Eek, you're really getting to the countdown part now!!

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
