I'm not quite ready to meet this baby yet, too much to get ready at home and I'm still trying to build confidence that I can give birth to him vaginally. I hope that ai succeed in VBAC. I'm also trying to spend time with my four-year-old before my attention is more divided, and there just aren't enough hours in the day!
I understand - I didn’t feel ready before the twins either!! There was so much more I wanted to get done, including more time with my boys, before they were born. But I was so big and tired and uncomfortable at the end that I was basically in survival mode each day!
Exciting that you’ll be meeting your little guy soon!!!!

Thanks all for the well wishes. We are just thrilled to bits. Tired and super sore still but thrilled all the same.

We got to take them home on Friday So lovely seeing their 3 big brothers with them. We have had limited visitors too which has been great. Finding the recovery a LOT harder this time. My body is just so beat up after the pregnancy and then the delivery. And I got oral thrush as well over the weekend so even eating has been off the table for me as its too painful. Only getting sleep in 2 hourly blocks if I'm lucky. I'm in survival mode right now but hopefully it will be easier as the twins grow and we get a semblance of a routine going!!
