My DS1 & DS2 are 21 months apart then there is only a 16month gap between ds2 and my new DD. have them close together is hard now but I can already see they will be so close growing up and I think that will make the hard times now worth it later. I think it is just personal preference if you want them close together in age or a little bit more of a gap. It is definitely easier with DS1 ( now 3 1/2) able to help a little and do some things for himself while DS2 still is a mummy's boy and needs me for everything.

yeah! not too old. chances are still very good for conception at 40, lots of the statistics that say otherwise are based on very old data. Good luck with your sways.

Hi Kel
Did you breastfeed your ds2 and If so any tips for conceiving at 7/8 months postpartum like you would have to have a 16 month gap?

No wasn't breastfeeding as my DS2 refused to breastfeed after 4 months of age (he had bad reflux and had to have meds in expressed breastmilk from a bottle after every feed so he soon discovered a bottle was quicker and he could see what his brother was doing easier with a bottle rather than breastfeeding so refused to feed except from a bottle - I was devastated as I fed DS1 til 14 months). DD1 was our surprise baby (was on the pill but had gastro as didn't think about it as was busy with two energetic boys). Was lightly swaying as was trying to talk DH into trying again for our DD (DS2 was a sway opposite). Was doing a light PCOS LE diet with no added exercise as so busy with boys anyway. Really tried not to stress over swaying as we were not even trying yet. Think that was the key for me. Stressed so much about diet and exercise with DS2's sway. No real suggestions for swaying so soon other than try to not stress about swaying as that's likely to delay PPAF if your really stressed. And also think key was not having really strict lower limits like I did with DS2. Took me 6 months of trying on LE diet to get pregnant with Ds2. Good luck with your sway. Fingers crossed for you.

Oh Kel I can imagine you'd be devastated that he didn't want to breastfeed I'd feel the same!
Thanks for the tips they are helpful and definitely what I need to hear re: not stressing this time- I was obsessed with my two failed sways and it's not good!

And yes I hear you on the strict limits too- I was on the Le last time for over a year and lost 30 kg ( obviously had pp weight to lose) and still had an opposite so strict does not always work.

Congrats Lil on your little boy!!!!!!
So exciting to see that a lot of you will be swaying/TTC again soon!! Hoping you all get your girls!!! As bonkers as it sounds I’m a little jealous- I still haven’t accepted that we’re “done” and it makes me so sad to know that stage of life (including swaying!) is over!

Abc I'm exactly the same. If we had more room and I was a bit younger... but that's us done too.

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
