Here's my 2 cents which isn't much! :-)
When we went for our gender scan at 20 weeks we asked they put it in an envelope bc we wanted to find out at home. Anyway after she let us look at the baby she told us to turn away so she could get the gender. Afterwards she was making all these references to her own family make up and how she had 2 boys then a girl. He daughter had 3 boys then a girl. But in that moment I wasn't really listening to her clues bc I just knew it was a boy. Anyway we found out it was indeed a girl. I think I heard what I thought already knew as far as what she was hinting at and then I excused all the rest or I just flat out didnt pay attention. So maybe the tech did drop some
Good clues but you just didn't catch on. That anatomy scan is so stressful anyway with making sure the baby is healthy and then seeing all the fingers and toes and then the gender section!
Hoping you both have a little girl baking away in there! Not much more time now before they get here!

I failed my 1 hour glucose test so now I have to do the 3 hour test where they draw your blood every 3 hours after you drink the glucose drink. I have never failed this test before so of course I am worried. Has anyone had gestational diabetes and can give me some encouragement? My 3 hour test is Thursday morning!
Can't be any help Soar but good luck! If there is a 3 hour test following the 1 hour test then presumably the 1 hour test is in no way conclusive. Try not to worry! Good Luck!

I failed (just) with ds2. It turned out because I had fruit on my oatmeal in the morning that threw the test. They told me no to fast and to eat normally but when I asked afterwards why I may have failed, they asked if I had fruit, juice or honey before it. I passed the 3hr one no problem! Good luckQuote:

Hi ladies....sitting in the office waiting for my 3rd draw! I only kept the glucose drink down for 1 hour. When they drew the second time I new it was bad news and ran to the trash can! I'm so embarrassed! It was in front of every nurse in the office! Ugh I've got 2 more draws! I can do it.....I think!
I am sure they have seen that before!!! Way to go on getting through the first draw....and best of luck with the next two!Quote:
