DH was a chronic thumbsucker into his teens. He had to have the appliance with the spikes on the roof of his mouth to break him of it, and it really flared out his front teeth (so badly he almost had to have head gear!) He wasn't EVER sucking his thumb when he was awake, but he would subconsciously do it in his sleep and wake up with his thumb in his mouth! Sooooo.... I was a mean mommy when my babies put their thumbs in their mouths. I swapped them out for pacifiers, but then, they didn't suck on THOSE past 3 months, so who knows if they still would have sucked their thumbs?

When you're ready to get her to stop, there's a nail polish that tastes TERRIBLE that you can put on her thumbs. It broke DS1's nail biting habit in a week.

Sorry to hear about you ladies and your morning sickness. The only thing that ever helped me was exercise, and it only delayed it. I'd feel pukey before my workout, absolutely fabulous 5 minutes into the warm-up, and then I'd vomit as soon as I got home when I was carrying DS2. I totally get what you mean about the MS and gender, Longing. EVERYONE around me told me DS2 HAD to be a girl because I puked until 20 weeks. The real salt in the wound was still having MS after I found out the gender at 18 weeks. Ugh!

Hi ladies! I've been stalking this thread for weeks desperate to join you all! I can happily now announce that we are 12 weeks along and due Jan 26th. We were waiting for our 12 week scan just to chk heartbeat and growth was on track. Thankfully all is looking good so far.
We contemplated HT but as we cldnt afford more than one cycle we knew it wasn't for us. We accepted that we really want a third baby, and will be happy with either gender. I originally attempted the HE diet strictly (for 2 weeks haha) and sucked big time! So after out first BFN, I just took aspects of the diet that I liked and did those. Not ideal, but I'm ok with that.
DH and I are both pretty chilled out, so I don't think I really exhibit any 'Martha' qualities either hahaha.
Anyways we are still hoping blue, but we know we make fabulous little girls and will be thankful for good health and more cuddles!
Here's a pic (not very clear) from our scan. We also did the Panorama test on the recommendation of my Ob, so fingers crossed for a healthy bub and we can let u know gender in a couple weeks xo

I'm feeling too ok!!??! I did have sore boobs and some nausea but it's gone. I've Lao had cramps. 😕 Super paranoid of another loss but HPTs are still dark. 👍

I'm also had mild headaches, and I NEVER get headaches when I'm pregnant. DS6 reels me there's 2 babies and I said is there a boy or girl, he said "girl". 😉💜 Being 2, I don't think he understands at all, but it would be nice if he was right and there was a pink bean in there. 😊

Beautiful babies oncue and futureminime!

Mumofsix, my son tells everyone I'm having a girl and talks to my belly using the girl name we've picked. I think kids have an intuition about these things and I can't wait to see if he's right!
