Lilith, are you still BF? I can feel my boobs getting bigger by the day and I'm blaming BF DS2 once a day. I'm planning on weaning him once he turns 2. But in the mean time I need to make the feeding every other day so I don't stop it suddenly and end up with even more painful boobs, but don't know how as he is sooo clingy lately and demands his feeds, it's usually before his bed time. And Ds1 weaned himself at 12m well before I got pregnant.

Anyone, any ideas on how to wean him?
I also heard that BFing is actually good for morning sickness...or is that an OWT?

I'm not sure if it is helping me, as I'm still nursing DS2 and still very nauseous. I woke up yesterday to engorged boobs and needing to pump. I'm not going to wean yet but if I were I would just do it as gradually as possible. Don't offer, don't refuse kind of thing. Then move to distracting the child from nursing, for example if child wants to comfort nurse, offer a toy or other activity.

DS2 is 3. I'm done with the painful, dry nursing. I can't express any milk, and breastfeeding just hurts. I really can't bring myself to feel guilty about weaning him now. I told him the breasts were empty and tired, and that he drank all the milk. He's been pretty understanding about the whole thing.

I BF DS2 through the last pregnancy when I miscarried, and I still had morning sickness. I had TERRIBLE ms with DS2, and light ms with DS1, so I'm just waiting for it to hit. No actual ms yet, just the very occasional wave of nausea that passes in 5 seconds. I had cravings and aversions with all previous pregnancies, but the aversions are always stronger than the cravings. I craved fruit and beef with DS1, fish (sashimi, sushi and tuna) with DS2, and Mexican food the last time. My aversions were tuna, eggs and fish with DS1, chicken and garlic with DS2, and eggs last time. I've never craved sweets while pg.

dreamingofwin, I was worried about the same thing a couple of weeks ago and asked the same question. Although my result wasn't great obviously, lots of ladies said that they didn't start to feel symptoms until 7weeks, 9weeks or even later.

Try not to worry (easier said than done I know) but if you've got no pain, bleeding or spotting, things should be ok.💜

I had no symptoms my entire pregnancy with DS1 and he was 2 weeks late. DS2 was about the same minus some gestational diabetes side effects and 1 week late, wasn't until DS3 I got even a taste of symptoms, and then it was just fatigue and nausea (never actually puked). With my miscarriage in Nov I had some symptoms too, but this pregnancy (only 4w3d) I've already had a slew..weird stuff too, like every night this week I've gotten a weird itchy rash on my forearm, super vivid dreams, nausea and fatigue already too. It was a clomid cycle for me so now I'm scared it's twins, I'd be happy, but scared too. lol I'm perturbed my local store is out of those conception indicator tests that would give me an idea of my hcg levels (I'm waiting on my insurance approval). I had to order some off amazon. Anyway, my point was no symptoms isn't always a bad sign.

I am 7 weeks and I didn't get any symptoms till week 6. All I have now is nausea and fatigue. No puking, no real cravings or aversions yet, even though I stopped eating sweets (just don't want them - the same was with my other two pregnancies) and always hungry for cheese))

Congrats and welcome JG!! I'll add you to the list.

Oh gosh, this thread has been so quiet, is everyone feeling ok?

AFM, feeling really really yucky (puking twice a day,for now), tiredness, just want to sleeeep, nauseated, and having an empty stomach for days seems to be the way to go for me..except for a few crackers, hard boiled eggs and lemonade.
