Journey Congratulations, can't wait to read your birth story and his name is beautiful Well done.
Isabelle is 6 weeks old and wakes up once a night so I can't complain about that I'm just so loving and enjoying her so and Indira and Kell I think our boys are the same, mine wake up and don't even say good morning anymore they just look at me and ask where's Isabelle or they first run straight to her cradle. It really is lovely to see. I have my ds2 at home sick with croup so I'm trying and praying that Isabelle doesn't get it as I still have another week and a half before she gets immunized.Ds1 03

Thanks ladies Vinnie is just amazing. Although he sleeps lots, I seem to be on a serious go slow. Healing is so hard. The stitches hurt, my boobs hurt, my pelvis feels like its moving, my lower back hurts... All normal right?
Just not easy going when you have housework and new born to feed every 2hrs. Getting up and down from a sitting position is hard Walking hurts. Blah Im full of complaints.
When does it get better?
Heres baby Vinnie

First off he is absolutely adorable!!!
What a little cutie!
Unfortunatly yep all the aches and pains are quite normal, dose yourself up with paracetamol! They do ease off in a couple of weeks but that doesn't really help now!
Don't worry about the housework, just concerntrate on you two for now, the housework can waitDS1-9 DS2-2 DD born 27th July 2012

Congrats again, J! Vinnie is such a cutie pie, love his outfit too! I agree, no worries about housework. Were you given any pain meds? Can you call and ask for some? I didn't need to ask, the nurses saw how crippled I was after a huge tear with DS2. Hope you heal very soon and enjoy newborn snuggles! <3

Thank you ladies - DH has started to be more understanding now. which helps a lot. My MIL even ironed all V's clothes yesterday to help out. His draws were empty! This kid pees on every as soon as you take the nappy off!
I've got some serious catching up to do on my blog& forums. The time just goes so quickly :/ Why is that?

Congratulations Journey!
He is adorable!
Yes it isn´t easy in the first weeks, getting used to the baby and all those pains, but it gets better from this point on.
Housework?? Are you kidding me? Your priority is to have a shower and be able to have 3 meals a day!
Glad to hear Dh is more understanding and MIL is helping out. Hugs
I successfully had my girl nearly 3 years ago thanks to an awesome plan from atomic. I have just started on Ozempic to try and lose some weight due to PCOS and it’s working well. Does anyone...
