TTC a Girl Sway Attempt UPDATE - Found out at 6 weeks that we are expecting twins
Sdly by 8 weeks only 1 twin was developing...... by 12 weeks they expect the other baby will have dissapeared and had we not had a n early scan we would never have kown - this is smething called vanishing twin syndrome.

Comments regarding DW's diet changes-

in this month of ttc it wasnt as strong as previous months - I had started snacking a bit more. I did however stay veggie. So i do not feel confident about my diet this month :-(
I lost 6lb in total which i didnt really have to loose.

Did you skip breakfast regularly?
Yes - all i had in the mornings was tea

Did DH change his diet with you?
Not really but ate alot less red meat

DId you consume alcohol?
Yes as and when i fancied it

DId you try to limit caffeine?
Nope probably had 3- cups of tea or coffee per day

WEIGHT AND EXERCISE
What did you weigh/BMI do leading up to O?

BMI Was bordering on underweight so i had to maintain weight this month and not loose anymore

No exercise at all ever !!!

No Fr or abstain just did the deed through the month when we felt like it - luckily this month we managed the 7 days in a row where it really mattered :-)

Clomid days 4-8 50mg
Baby asprin every 3rd day
folic acid x tabs a day ( 1600 )
Acidolphius 1 a day


DH Supplements
Nothing this month - had done LR for the 2 months before hand

Did you use any Old Wives Tales?
Pink baby vest under the bed along with a wooden spoon with a ribbon on it that DH has been asking where it has gone !! ha ha

Things that make me feel great about my sway:
The clomid and thats it
Diet went to pot and we didnt do FR or abstain this month, DH didnt take any supps this month either :-(


To be honest so long as it is a sticky healthy baby we dont mind which colour it will be but a daughter would be amazing so please send me lots of pink dust :-)

Mum23boys I was on the "what are you eating today" thread with you for months and I reckon you did an absolutely fab job with the diet, you were very well controlled and didn't seem to eat much at all. Even if you increased your intake a little this month surely all those months of the diet would have done a lot to lower your hormones etc. I reckon you have a great chance of a pink bean (actually, 2 pink beans as I reckon from that strong 8dpo BFP that you have a pretty decent chance of there being twins in there!) Congratulations on an awesome sway, hope it is a sticky, healthy pink bean (or 2!) in there for you... I am excited that we can be due in August preggie buddies after being LE diet buddies! It feels like it has come the full circle!
