Not excusing the mistakes at Genesis but I would still say it is a reputable clinic, unlike for example north cyprus clinics where there are some real horror stories. There were instances of triplets at American clinics too in the early stages of gender selection before they became more strict on numbers of embryos transferred.

However if you are a little bit older and things are likely going to be a little bit more difficult then I do think the Czech clinics have more resources for the money.

Just thought I'd pop in again and let you all know that I've just read that, apparently, you cannot choose anymore which embryo gets put back - it looks like, in the meantime, it's the doctor and/or the embryologist who chooses. If that's true, then that's the end of C*** for us :'-(

Did this get confirmed? I'm planning on cycling there... this worries me...

Also re - reading the thread, so there was a mix up a clinic C?! I know it's highly unusual but still good to go into this with my eyes open!!!

Thanks for clarifying.

I haven't been able to find the post from the lady who wasn't able to choose the embryo and whilst I know it's the risk we take by going to clinic C, it's still something we have to weigh up and manage as it's never to late to go to another clinic right up until EC day!

I'm doing my pre testing in a few weeks (hubby did his this week) and subject to all the results, I think the earliest I can get out there will be Sept so will be aiming for that

Another site was definitely talking about a gender mix up with clinic c. I've no idea if that is true or not though, but might be worth looking into if you are worried. It may well be a totally unfounded rumour.
