Just weaned my 3rd DS at 14 months. He likes rice milk. Weaned him to nursing morning and bedtime. Eventually distracted him with a book when he would normally nursed. I never thought he would quit nursing. Good luck!

I had this problem with an extended nurser. She's 2 now and still will not drink milk--not sure if it's related or not becaue I didn't have this problem with my other extended nurser. But ultimately, I just accepted it. She drinks orange juice with calcium, I give her calcium and vitamin D, cheese, yogurt, etc. and work on protein from other sources. Milk is not a necessity . . .as for the breastfeeding, I personally would be fine with just morning and night at 15 months, but think you could drop them with distraction and substitution at that age. Maybe a sippy first thing in the morning, and extended cuddle for night. Good luck!

That is how my third boy is too and he is STILL nursing at 3 (just once at bedtime) so I am in no place to give any advice! Good luck though!
