Bad Ovulation pain?
This is unrelated to swaying, I think, but just wondering whether anyone else gets quite bad pains during O?
I experience mild cramping for a day before (not sure exactly before what, but before it all kicks in) & watery CM.
The next day, I will get quite strong aches & sharp pains on either my L or R ovary.
I have a constant 'pressure' feeling inside, feel quite bloated, and just generally feel uncomfortable.
Its like as if there is a blown balloon inside my uterus.
The pressure definitely builds up over several hours, and then it's peak only lasts for several minutes (maybe 10 or 20 at most). When it's at its worst, I find it difficult to walk properly as the pressure on my side can be very strong. When I sit down, It's as if I've just sat on an organ or something - Really strange. It subsides quite quickly, luckily.
The next morning, my BBT has risen so I am assuming it's my Ov pain!?
I have had several tests done (unrelated) and don't have PCOS, cysts or endometriosis.
Does anyone else get quite uncomfortable every month, like me?
I know it's def been something I have experienced for quite some time, but I *think* that perhaps, its gotten stronger since swaying. Could be Vitex, if that's even possible?!

This is almost exactly what happens to me except that the bloating and pressure builds up over 3-4 days. Then it seems that almost as soon as I ovulate it goes away. I don't think it happened to me as a teen, but then I was on birth control pills for about 10 years and when I went off it to TTC DS1 I noticed it and it was confirmed by my OBGYN that it was O pain/pressure. The good thing is that it makes it really easy to time BDing for TTC, and I probably could even use it as birth control (but that still seems risky). It is annoying, though. I was on Vitex this last time and I didn't notice a difference (better or worse) with the pains...

I get this really badly too (in fact I'm going through it now... ouch) and I'm currently on no supplements at all. It's very uncomfortable, but I see it as a good thing, because at least it helps pinpoint O.

I've only had O pains in the past few years and I don't get them every cycle. My last cycle I had pretty bad pain and I was very uncomfortable. My body does what it wants to do!

I haven't experienced the discomfort that you describe, but I do get pains every month. Usually lasts a day and a half. I do know that when I was taking soy isos, it was almost unbearable (but I've since dropped the soy).

I have horrible O pains, 20 times worse than anything I have with AF. I equate them to the "afterpains" I get after having a baby. Sometimes up to a week long. Zanacal does too, she's mentioned it in some of her posts.
Both Vitex and baby aspirin (and also cranberry) can cause more intense O pain.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Also did not happen as a teen or actually until I was in my mid-20's. The first time I noticed them was the month before I conceived DS 2 and I actually had htought I might be pg and lost it, but in retrospect I realize it was just O pain.

Yes, I experience the same thing. They use to be much worse in my 20s and then when I started working out and eating really well then it got better but it didn't go away. Mine is more of a discomfort for about 1.5 days and then in the last 20-30 minutes (like you described) there is a more of a sharp pain then all of the sudden it goes away. I always then get AF 14 days after the pain goes away. This is also how I knew that this BD attempt was an O+12.

You cannot tell when you ovulate to the second like that. You really, really, really cannot do it. People think they can but it's impossible. Unless you've had ultrasounds when you have pain and they see the egg emerge then you have no way of knowing whether that was actually ovulation or just a twinge or what.
