How do you stay full without overeating/snacking on LE diet?

how do you stay full on a LE diet? I am ttc girl and hugely realise that my eating pattern will never be girl friendly....Ever since i was young i have had this habit of eating meals beyond full. I dont really snack in between, i always have my meal on time 2-3x a day...but i realise that I eat big portions...having a burger without fries, or spagetthi without garlic bread isnt making my life complete. Whenever I eat i need to have a heavy condiment as well, making my meal intake nearly as twice as it should be. a dessert or sweet after every meal is also muchly needed on a daily basis. I also love high calories drink such as smoothies, frappes etc...Thank God i am not overweight (yet!) maybe because i chase my little one nonstop and i enjoy yoga for body sculpting.

You don't. You have to retrain yourself to be satisfied with less food. I am also a really big eater rather than a snacker, so I had to be sure I was monitoring my portions and quit eating when I was at my caloric limits rather than feeling full - because if I waited for that to happen i would eat 3000 cals a day!

filling in the blanks with low carb (free) veg and seltzer water, and immediately popping in a stick of sugarfree gum right after eating were very helpful for me.

I understand, it isn't easy! I used to chew a piece of sugar-free gum after each meal just to signify to myself that that was it until the next one. Diet fizzy pop also works and helps to fill you up along with your meal. It is hard at first but your body will adapt. I'm now 19 weeks pg and haven't gone back to snacking or overeating. I think being on the diet reset my metabolism somehow! It certainly made me appreciate just how little I needed to eat to fill me up.

Re pudding, I worked in a fat free yoghurt everyday after my tea. Yummy rhubarb or apple crumble flavour ones
You just have to be inventive and work in what you enjoy albeit a diet version depending on what it is. I never ate diet food before LE so it was a real eye-opener to see just what you can get in the diet ranges!

It's not easy, but I find it that if I drink diet soda, loads of water or chew gum helps.

I'm so glad you posted this. I felt like the only person here who used to eat a lot. I kept seeing post of women that can't even eat all the calories that are required and here I am hungry in between meals. lol Just wanted to share that I am on your same boat.

Thats right... How could i forget sugar free gum?
Instead of having 2 really big meals is it ok to have 3 normal meals (i'll try to ensure they are smaller so i am not overeating!)

yes both 2 and 3 meals are fine. Even 4 meals if need be - it's better to eat meals than to cheat!
