I thought I saw somewhere when swaying pink soy is good for dh but not dw...? Unless I'm getting mixed up. Or maybe there's two different kinds of soy?! I have no clue!

That's in the sway plan. There is a difference between soy oil (which has no soy protein and little/no isoflavones) and soy FOODS which have a lot of those.

    whoops just realized I missed a q there -

I don't know that eating soy is bad for DW. My thinking is that it probably sways pink BUT because you can get by without it, and also because the "old-school" sway gurus advocate it for blue for DW, there is no harm in having you guys avoid it. You will have to limit it anyway because of the diet limits. It's fine to have as a now and then thing, I just don't want you guys to use it as a sway tactic, save it for DH.

I asked my best friend before we started our sway if she ate bad for you food before she had her only daughter (followed by 3 sons). I remember eating hamburger helper when I went to meet my Goddaughter as a newborn. She said she ate bad foods all the time. She started eating healthier has she didn't have the energy to chase her daughter around. So I went into my sway with junk food is okay, just stick to the calorie and fat limits and roll with it. This post has made me feel better. I question it when I go to a baby shower (all girl babies - which is depressing) or party, I know I'm eating crap, so it's whatever. I normally bust my cals for that day (but haven't been over 1700 cal since I started).

The Skinny on Fats for pink and blue!

And once again I read something & wonder how the heck I have 4 boys. It must come down to number of calories and my OCD. I've gradually been trying to eat more healthy since we had ds1, but we still eat a lot of processed stuff (I have chronic fatigue), junk food & bakery stuff. The only "boy" things I've done are we dumped trans fats about 10 years ago & vegetable oil for cooking 5 or 6 years ago.

I tried lowering my calories a few days ago. According to my app, I had about 1450cals one day, didn't record the next day, I'm sure it was closer to or over 2000, & about 2000 the day after. I was soooo hungry. I still am & I normally don't get hungry. Ever. And I haven't even added in exercise yet. I didn't even feel like I was eating much less than normal on the 2000 days, that one low day seems to have done it.

It is so hard not to ''think'' about food all the time when you are on LE. You have to keep track of fats pro potassium cals... (frustrating!!)

only at first, over time you may find you get used to it and no longer need to track so closely

Yeah, I really am trying to be more ''go with the flow'' and relaxed come time for when I try to conceive, and I would love to find my way in figuring out how to change my eating patterns and types of food to just put me in a more girl friendly zone without thinking about trying to eat within it. =P
