I believe I have just fully implanted at 13 dpo. I felt mega pains. With my others I felt similar but less painful pains like these at around 6 dpo and didnt get bfps until 14 dpo and they were really faint.
Do you think I will get a really late bfp? Do you think this baby will measure a week or more behind?
I had a chemical last month and ovulated way earlier this month than normal. I ended up with a 3.5 day cutt off and also an o+12 attempt but put hardly any semen just at opening of vj. Do you think this ups my chance for a girl, getting pg after a chemical?
Also, this was my first month off the vitex. ( was on it from af-o for 4 months prior). I've heard from atomic that this has helped sway girl for some?
Last question- do any of you think a later bfp is more likely to be a boy vs girl?

I don't want to be a Debbie downer but the pains could be AF coming. Most people don't feel implantation and if you do it should be more like 7-10 dpo.
I don't think you got pg from the 0+12 attempt, it's so hard to pin point o and only excellent eggs make it 12 hours, plus it can take sperm several hours to get to the egg anyway so by then the egg isnt viable. 3.5 day cut off also isn't a great chance at pregnancy.
Here on this site we dont really believe in timing--o+12 or a cut off--but rather one attempt at positive OPK. This has the highest chance of a pregnancy and it has been getting great girl results.
Most people who take vitex and then stop it the month of attempt are taking clomid and they have to stop the vitex for the clomid to work properly, so we are not sure if its the vitex swaying or he clomid. If you don't get pg this month you may want to start vitex again.
When an egg implants doesn't effect if a baby measures behind or not, often due dates are off be use women have long or irregular cycles. and gender cannot be determined by early or late BFP.
I really hope you do get you BFP this cycle!2010

None of this matters to be honest - it's best to be a bit more patient and wait it out which I know from experience is super hard but there's just no other option for us.
Good luck and hope you get ur bfp as well as desired gender5 Year oldDS - The most amazing kiddo ever!!

Carmella_marie, I will have to disagree. .while it may not be common, it's possible and you can get pregnant with those timings because i did. We dtd 4 days before o (unintended) and then about 12 to 24 hours after o and I'm currently 10 weeks. I know for sure when I o'd because i know my body really well

The egg has an implantation window and 13dpo is not in that window.
The egg has to implant around 5-6 dpo in order to survive. It can't just hang out and float around for an extra 7 days.
Either it's AF or you are totally off on when you O'd.

Well, I appreciate all of your opinions. I guess I didn't mention that Ive been spotting since 10 dpo with mild cramps since then that seemed sort of like AF. I have felt implantation before and it felt exactly like this only not as painful. I still have this hot hot back pain and now my nipples are ON FIRE! I just know I'm pregnant. I know 13 dpo is very late to be fully implanting. With my third, I felt these exact same feelings only far more mild and it was at 6 dpo. As a side note, I generally feel my O pains and get my AF exactly 14 days after. I've been keeping track for 6 months and it's never been off. I'm glad to hear that it doesn't sound like this is a gender determiner at all. Would love to hear some other late implantation stories.

Oh, also wanted to say that I dont really believe in timing either but chose the timing based on wanting to make it really hard to get pg and for less sperm to be there so better chance of a girl. I did vinegar douche before and then a glob of refresh after on my cut off attempt and then douche before and then 20 mins after for my o+12 attempt. Fingers crossed it worked!!

You could very well be pregnant! The implantation process takes about 48 hours. It would generally start around 5dpo. The pains may be your uterus adjusting to a new pregnancy!

I am just now seeing this so I already know the end of the story here but for any others who stumble upon this, what Nuthin says is 100% correct - 13 DPO is not in the window of when an egg implants. It simply isn't possible for that to happen. IF someone did seemingly have this happen, it means that their ovulation was delayed.
It is impossible to feel implantation occuring. If a person's uterus was that sensitive, pregnancy would be totally unbearable. You can have cramping in early pregnancy but it's because of the hormonal changes the entire uterus is undergoing and not a tiny ball of cells.
A late BFP has nothing to do with gender. The poster did not get pregnant (that was a very strict sway and it would have been surprising if she had)!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

No one can tell for sure when they ovulated without an ultrasound. It's been proven, even with trained people doing temping, charting, monitoring CM/CP that it is impossible to pinpoint even the DAY of ovulation, let alone the hour. Now, maybe you're the unicorn who can do it, and that is fine, I believe you. But most people who later stumble onto this thread is not going to be in that boat and I don't want anyone going for timing methods that depend on pinpointing the hour of ovulation because the vast majority of people cannot.
