    Folate vs Folic Acid

    I have been taking blackmores concieve well 3x days a week and IFolic the others days I've just bought Blackmores Folate is it better to take and ditch the rest? Will it cause any problems switching and why is Folate 'better' than Folic?

    Folate is bioavailable and folic acid is only partly bioavailable and is poorly absorbed.

    folate is better used by the body and some people (small minority) don't metabolize folic acid and MUST use folate. Some people don't know if they are in this minority and choose to use it just in case.
