I’m not swaying blue but have a son naturally with pcos and at the time I snacked constantly and ate lots of fortified cereal and drank tons of tea! It’s alot easier to conceive boys with pcos!

    Good luck!

If you're eating meat, eggs, and dairy (full fat only!!) then you should be able to get enough protein. As Girlsway pointed out, snacking is important when swaying. I certainly did a lot of it with two out of three of my boys.
Atomic has a post about swaying blue with PCOS: Atomic Fertility Diet (5th post down).

    Hi Girls,

    Thankyou for replying.

Is snacking a good idea even for mild insulin resistance? Like eating after every 2-3 hours. I have mild insulin resistance and my re has prescribed me metformin but i am not taking that, controling by diet only.

I think for a blue sway even with PCOS (and Atomic please correct me if I'm wrong!), you're supposed to do 3 meals a day with 2 snacks. With the snacks you want to combine protein with carbs. It's better for blood sugar that way. Be careful with the carbs though! Try to do a protein with with either veggies or fruit. Whole grains are fine, but I think fruit and veg are better. Choose the more nutrient dense fruits and veggies if given the option.

No, that is not a big concern and nothing to worry about.

Believe it or not that is actually indicative of possibly lower estrogen, not progesterone. AT about 7 DPO your corpus luteum (which makes progesterone) starts to break down and so your body releases a big burst of estrogen to maintain your lining for another week or so. If you aren't pregnant the CL is almost totally broken down by 2 days before AF is due and so it is that estrogen that is preventing AF's arrival. only if you're pregnant is your body still actively making large amounts of progesterone at that point of the cycle.

    Hi Atomic,

    Thanks for explaining.

Is there any way to increase estrogen levels naturally?

Yes, by eating HE Diet + the basic supps, lifting weights, gaining a small amount of weight or holding steady if you're already overweight, and keeping your PCOS in control by not eating too many sugars and refined carbs!

You're already DOING it!! PLEASE do not now start Googling everything looking for stuff to do and take. Usually taking a bunch of things only makes matters worse and makes your cycle even more screwy.
