Trying for a boy...give me your advice!
My Baby Blocker (Mirena) comes out on March 14th. I am a teacher and hope to deliver spring break of 2017 and take the rest of the year off so I can hand over a 6 month old to my Mom instead of a 2.5 month old. I plan. I predict. I positively think. My mental game is strong AF...
However, I can't will a Baby Boy into conception. So, what are your tried and true tips and tricks for ensuring this first go 'round, we get a boy!
Edit: This is my first day & post in this sub. Are Dr. Shettles or others who claim legitimacy through their findings not taken seriously here? I am asking for advice from people who are already pregnant and can provide actual anecdotes of real life accounts. Isn't that the goal here?

Hi and welcome. Everyone is welcome here regardless of how they plan to sway and what tactics they believe in. Most of us on here got opposites with various methods of swaying so we have gone through and looked at all these various methods to see if they are plausible or not. Many of them don't actually work very well (or at all) so we just like to share that info with people so they don't have to have the experience we did - opposites.
We believe in diet, exercise (weight training is best and you can do a little cardio if you'd like, just no overtraining), increasing fertility via nutrients, upping DH's sperm count and quality, and having several attempts in the fertile window for boys. That's what's worked for us. You are welcome to do that with SHettles timing if you'd like and we have ways to have more than one attempt (since we've found that 3 or more attempts in the fertile window has been strongly blue friendly) while still keeping the Shettles timing.
We always have reasons why our methods are different than the other sites. So any time you'd like to know the reason why our recommendation may vary, just ask! It's what I'm here for.
