Swaying pink when AMA
Hi,
I had my 4th boy 6 months ago. I am considering trying for another baby towards the end of the year and if I do I'm thinking of swaying for a girl. However I am terrified of chromosonal disorders/miscarriage as I will be 38. Is it safe for older women to sway pink?
Not sure if it's relevant but I seem to be very fertile and have fallen pregnant 5 times (one previous miscarriage) the first month trying. Boys no. 1 and 4 were only 1 attempt in the fertile window.
Thanks in advance!

Hi three of a kind! Congratulations on your newest little man!
I just had my 3rd boy two months ago and will be swaying when my ppaf returns and I'm 38 almost 39. I personally think swaying at our age is perfectly fine- I've done it twice once at 36 once at 38 and had two healthy boys ( sway opposites)
I too fall pregnant very easily despite trying every swaying trick under the sun lol!
Wishing you all the best xx

Both ds2 and ds3 were one attempt in fertile window too- and I did so many things that prevent conception I still can't believe I even got pregnant!
No idea what I'll do this time lol but I will stick with one attempt as it's getting great results just hoping it works this time for us!

Thanks for the encouragement and congrats on your new son. My third little guy is 3 and he's brought me so much joy! We are both lucky with our good fertility x

Hi and congrats on your fourth boy (so jealous haha)!
As a mum of girls, I can say : if anything, being somewhat older actually seems to sway more pink than blue, so you have got that to your advantage (I’ll officially be of AMA next time we ttc as will be over 35 – not to my favour for blue :P).
Remember , swaying pink’s goal is to lower fertility, not the health of the future baby or the pregnancy itself – so I daresay the swaying shouldn’t impact the chromosomal “status” of your baby. Whether swaying or not, if there is an issue with the embryo, your body’s way to deal with it is usually a m/c – whether you swayed blue or pink and even in optimal physical condition (as you want when swaying blue), the body will likely do it’s thing rather than maintain an unviable pregnancy.
Feel free to help yourself to my buckets of pink dust hehe

Agree with LMSM it's about lowering our fertility which won't affect the baby- well put LMSM.
And also don't forget I've conceived two boys after 35 so don't lose hope LMSM!

Huge congrats on your new baby boy!
YES it is safe for older women to sway pink. We do not do anything for a sway that is harmful to egg quality and in fact we have a special diet that is better for egg quality than the type of thing most people eat day to day anyway. It's in this thread, 5 from the top https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum...rt-3-pcos.html

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
