Breastfeeding TTC advice
Hello! I am looking for advice from anyone who has experience with BF while ttc. My little boy is 4 months old and we really wanted to start our swaying and trying for a girl by March/April however it’s been a bit of an issue as my cycles haven’t returned. I’m getting some ovulation symptoms and OPK will get stronger-but never fully positive so I know my body is gearing up, is trying to ovulate but it just can’t do it yet. I’ve already been to my doctor- they were appalled at the thought I was TTC before little one was 18 months so no help there, wondering about Vitex, diet? Anything really to help. I really don’t want to wean but if I have to I probably couldn’t do it until he is 6-8 months old so I can continue to store milk for him.

Please do not take vitex. It doesn't work and most of the time makes matters worse. Most of the people who think it worked, if you look at their story closer it takes 2,3,6 months or whatever and all that happened was that their cycle returned in the meantime. We have seen far more cases of vitex delaying or stopping ovulation (or preventing it from returning all together; I just replied to a thread where a lady coming off hormonal birth control took it and has not ovulated in 4 months' time) than helping anyone and I would say that's a solid 90% to 10% there. 90% of people who take vitex are either not helped or worse off, only 10% seem better off and who knows it may be coincidence.
All you can do is eat right (plenty of cals and fat, not pink friendly if that's what you were aiming at) and get plenty of sleep and possibly try to skip a night feed. That's it. I know it is annoying but no doc would give you Clomid in this situation (nor could you safely take it without a cycle) and it probably wouldn't work anyway. Your body just isn't ready, and it sucks I know but the only cure is Vitamin P (patience).!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I successfully had my girl nearly 3 years ago thanks to an awesome plan from atomic. I have just started on Ozempic to try and lose some weight due to PCOS and it’s working well. Does anyone...
