How to overcome Metformin side effects?
Hi Ladies!
I just knew that I have PCOS and the doctor prescribed me Metformin. How can I overcome the horrible side effects?
She said to take it 1/2 hour after lunch. Does it help? When is the best time with less side effects?
Any suggestions from your experiences?!
TIA

I think you're overthinking this a bit! Many people are on Metformin (and you're on a fairly low dose too) and have no side effects from it at all. Others have side effects at first that then go away.
You need to take it with food and you may want to ask for the extended release version which has less side effects.
I would not drink alcohol while on metformin.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
