Having 2nd Boy After 2nd Failed Sway - Sweet Brother Stories Please!
I found out about a month ago that we are having our second little boy after another failed sway.
I now plan to pursue freezing some embryos so we can try for a girl to see if we can use science to complete our family (DH is thankfully onboard). And if that too fails, I will know I've done everything I can and will have peace that I tried all avenues.
All of that to say, these little boys will be a little less than 2.5 years apart. I would LOVE to hear some stories of your sweet boys and the perks of being a mom of sons.
I've been meeting with my therapist weekly to discuss my gender disappointment (which is helping in the grieving process), but if any of you have happy/positive stories of your boys, it would really bring me joy to read them.
Thank you!

I swear to you, I truly think boys should come in pairs like shoes. I have two sets of two boys born about 13 years apart (same husband, which doesn't matter at all, but I know everyone always secretly wonders and is always too polite to ask, LOL) and both times it's been an amazing experience. In fact, my older two are still roommates at 26/29 and have never lived apart from each other! My younger two work together on our farm to do all the chores in addition to doing everything together, they're best buds. And when the big boys still lived at home, they helped out sooo much in terms of babysitting, being great big brothers and all the rest.
Boys are just SO awesome!

I have three boys, with my oldest two being only 21 months apart. My oldest two have been best friends since they were very little. They're VERY different in personalities but I think it somehow complements each other. I kinda wish I would have had DS3 closer in age to my other two because he's sometimes the odd man out since DS1 and DS2 already had a strong bond by the time our third came along. That being said, they all do play together and have a lot of the same interests. I love it when they all play hide and seek together or act out some video game. They're always giggling about something gross or silly. lol They're very sweet and I don't necessarily feel like a "boy mom" because it's not just about wrestling, dirt, and bugs all the time (well...sometimes it is ).

I replied to this but I don't see it coming up so I wanted to repost! THANK YOU for taking the time to share these precious stories. I am really working on focusing on the joys of having two boys back to back and knowing they'll be buddies and play together a lot (hopefully), will bring me a lot of happiness. All of your boys sound like gems, thank you for taking the time to share them with me!

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
