Atomic, I've always been interested in how heavily PCOS might sway blue, and thought I would share a quick poll I did on a PCOS forum I am a member of. After simply asking on the mommy board whether ladies had a boy or girl, I've had about 30 respondents so far, and 75% have boys. I shared the Valerie Grant hypothesis, since it was the easiest link to explain where the idea for the survey came from. Thought you would find this number interesting. Don't know how many more responses I will get, clearly the more people respond the more it will have any meaning, but I was pretty taken with what seems to be a very strong blue sway with PCOS!

also we have to keep in mind that some women with PCOS are given medications that we know sway pink such as Clomid and Metformin so it may be a stronger sway than that for people who are not on medicatiion.

Yes, a lot of the women on those boards needed clomid and metformin, and still the stats were almost 75% boy.

Do you have any links to research re:vitamin E being bad for pcos? I find this particularly interesting and important because many women with pcos (or more specifically insulin resistance) have fatty liver and vitamin E is shown to be the most effective treatment in healing and preventing further scaring from forming.

If i said it, then it exists and I read it somewhere or I would not have included it in the essay. I don't make stuff up. The problem is that I don't know if it was in one of my books or online or what and I have no time to go hunting stuff down.

There is a ton of info about how Vitamin E may not actually be that great for health in more than dietary levels. proceed with caution while using

hmmm I never insinuated that you made it up, not sure where that's coming from. I find this interesting and certainly something I would like to address with my endo if it's pertinent to my health.

I have seen others like this too...I just can't wrap my head around antioxidants being bad. Aren't they in coffee?
