Sway girl TTC

Hi, am new to this site so not sure how it all works. I came off the coil about 2 months ago and I am currently tracking my cycle. I am going to ttc this month and would like to sway girl, has anyone got any tips.
My best friend swayed her 2nd baby and got the gender she wanted so she has given me some tips. But I suppose am getting a bit confused as to what I should try. I used O kits last month to get an idea when O was happening.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Blondie and thanks for your patience, I thought this might be a really long post but it turns out it wasn't LOL.

So when you say "tips" can you tell us what you've been told??

The most important thing of all is to have only ONE attempt in the fertile window. So do not have several attempts and then try for a Shettles cutoff because that is a recipe for a boy (as many of us, myself included, have found to our dismay).

If you give me more info about the method she has suggested you use I can help you fill in the blanks about when to BD.

Thanks for your reply. The tips my friend has gave me is one attempt as soon as I get a positive ovulation. My partner to wear tight pants couple days before lol. My partner to have a hot bath before BD. Try and avoid red meats and eat more vegI meals. Partner goes on top. I donÂ’t organism whilst BD. Emmmm am trying to think of other things she has told me. She did loads of research and she conceived a girl. Oh she said they both took Sudafed that day, I canÂ’t remember exactly what this does.
Anything else you can recommend? I am tracking my cycle on an app and it has predicted my ovulation day 25th Nov And last month whilst I was tracking I did ovulation test and seemed pretty spot on. So I will do the same this month.

one attempt at positive OPK is exactly what I suggest.

While hot bath and tight pants can cut odds of conception, most will start out with them, but if you don't conceive, be sure to drop them before adding attempts.

I don't suggest Sudafed for women. I don't find it acceptibly safe. You can give it to your husband though.

I do like you guys to have dieted longer than just a few days but if you're ready to try this month, just be sure you are doing that one attempt - don't have more than one.

We have seen a small improvement in statistics from "jumping and dumping". After 1-5 minutes, get up and go to the bathroom and try to wipe away any excess semen.

Apps are not reliable. I would take your ovulation test and BD at first positive like your friend says.

Yeah I will try the one attempt and see how I get on. I use the app as a guide and then I take the ovulation kits. So I won’t use the app to guess my ovulation but I will take the tests when it’s showing am most fertile and as soon as I get a positive I will dtd.
