For FET? Is it for lining thickness at all? If I do my FET without it will it effect

Lupron suppress the hormones in your body and yes you do need some form of suppression unless you are doing a natural FET. I did not use Lupron during my first IVF cycle nor did I use it during my first FET. I used only Estrace to suppress me and then once my lining was thick enough I was started on PIO and had the transfer about 5 or 6 days later.
Sometimes the best thing you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess. Just breathe, and have faith that everything will work out for the best.
^^^That is exactly what I did and everything has FINALLY worked out for the best. I couldn't be more happier in my life than I am right now with these 2 blessings that were brought into my life.

For a medicated FET, it is usually used unless you use estrace only like M says but if you google estrace, you'll find warnings about that too! I used what my RE said because their FET rates are 50% which is really good for a FET. They use medicated with lupron.

A non-medicated FET is difficult if you have to travel. It requires much more monitoring and bloodwork and if you don't O or are late, it can mess up dates, travel, etc.

For a natural FET, I only used progesterone. If you have regular cycles, it's much easier on your body than medicated. Yes, you can find warnings about any medication, but Estrace mimics the body's natural hormones, Lupron does the opposite.

Thanks for all the info, I think as I'm travelling to the US from UK I will probably have to go down the medicated route, but I will definitely ask Dr P his thoughts on estrace vs lupron.
