I know I know there are probably other ladies out there who have had similar betas and have had boys but statistically doesn't high beta mean a girl?

I have no idea, I'm not experienced in that. This is the High Tech section. Maybe some else can chime in?

Hi, I had a very high beta with my first boy as well. At first people even thought I was having twins... The beta with my second boy was "normal", I am sorry I don't remember the exact numbers.
I wish you luck! FWIW, I don't think it means too much

Ok I have more time to answer this am so will add a bit more detail

The thing with betas is that while YES on the extremes there are statistically more girls with super duper high betas, there are still some boys with super duper high betas and tons of crossover between the two (so lots of boys with somewhat high betas, lots of girls with somewhat low betas, and some girls with super duper low betas - trotting out my fancy-science-terminology this am LOL). There was a tiny trend that way but in the study itself it says point blank that it is of no use for predicting gender because there is too much crossover between the two groups.

Tons of people obsess over those beta numbers and squint at their pg tests and there is no way to tell gender from them. If there were they'd already be using it clinically by now.

I think she is asking here because HT ladies generally have more betas than the average swayer.

We have a woman in our due date group who had very hight beta's. She is having a boy. My beta this pregnancy was a lot higher than my other boy's, and I'm having another little guy. I agree with Atomic.
